Trends in general and public health scientific output of authors affiliated to Brazilian institutions among high-impact and SciELO journals: 1995-2019

This study aimed to assess the percentage of articles with authors affiliated Brazilian institutions in high-impact journals and SciELO evaluate trends 5-year citations according author's affiliation journal category. Bibliometric data were obtained using Scopus database from 1995 2019. Publications selected four categories: High-impact General Health (HGH), Public (HPH), (SGH) (SPH). The number that received five years after publication publications any author Brazil calculated by each year. same 146 followed. There was a significant increase all sets journals. Among HGH, there an increasing 0.3% 1.5% between 1995-2019, for HPH 1% 3%, SGH 49.7% 55.4%, SPH 47.4% 71.9%. (p < 0.01) mean groups increased more than average.
